Wow. I'm not a very big Crichton fanatic... I've only recently read a few of his books, Sphere included, and I think they're absolutely amazing... I loved the way he included footnotes and indexes.. not only did they help with the tone of the book (i sound like an idiot), I could actually understand the medical terminology
