The Resurrected Holmes: New Cases from the Notes of John H. Watson, M.D. by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

This name means not only the person himself, but also a beloved genre of detective stories and a cherished memory of good old days when they were thriving. One can forgive an awkward imitation, but not most stories in this collection, where the person named Sherlock Holmes is certainly not the best and the wisest man I've ever known.
