The Quality of Mercy by Faye Kellerman
Reader Reviews Graphic yet compelling, September 9, 2003 Reviewer: A reader from Rochester, NY I was so engrossed in this book, I couldn't put it down. I found Rebecca's storyline particularly interesting, Shaespeare's, not so much. It is not for the faint of heart - there are graphic descriptions of torture that may be fiction but are based on actual historical events and are very disturbing. But if you can handle it, it's a great book!
