I absolutely could not put it down, and it left me guessing till the very end. If you are interested in the Kay Scarpetta series, definitely read this book first. I've read "Body of Evidence", "All That Remains", and "Cruel & Unusual" which were all good (but not quite up to the high standard of "Post-Mortem"), but the relationships among characters make quite a bit more sense after having read "Post-Mortem".
