Editorial Review
Do you like to solve mysteries? Here's your opportunity to save the day. Barbecue with a Vampire--part of the How to Host a Teen Mystery series of games--requires keen concentration, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Your case involves figuring out who turned the homecoming queen into a vampire. The plot takes place during a birthday party bash at the castle home of rock star Killian Killagan. If players are astute, sniffing out the vampires should be a cinch, but read the mystifying instructions anyway. --Diane Beall

We're all in our mid to late 20s. For me and a couple of others it was our first murder mystery but the majority were murder mystery veterans. We all loved it! Best of all the conclusion makes sense! When you think about it, it's completely obvious that person is the murderer without it being a complete give away. [We played another one this past weekend (different company) which was not as successful. The murderer was so obvious no one guessed it could possibly be them and a great deal of the dialogue was pre-scripted] Discovering everyone's little secrets just adds hilarity to the game. Of course, keep in mind that you can only play the game once. Hang the map some where so it doesnt get messed up during the game. At first glance 25 bucks seems expensive for a game you can only play once but I guess you'd spend more on that on movies or another form of entertainment. I highly reccommend this game to people of any age looking for an evening of fun.
