SOMEONE WANTS TO WIN -- AT ANY COST!

The combat sports training facility has just opened in Bayport, and the Hardys are on hand to check it out. They can practice judo, fencing, archery, and biathlon, and meet aspiring athletes from all over.

But good times turn to bad sportsmanship when Joe's girlfriend, Iola, gets a nasty electrical shock during a fencing workout. Then someone decides to use Frank for target practice on the archery range. Now the Hardys are wondering if the events are more than accidents. How far will world-class competitors go to win?

Reader Reviews
okay, not very exciting, August 29, 2001 Reviewer: A reader from canada, eh i've always loved the hardy boys books but these newer ones are not very good. there really isn't much mystery or action left in them. i was also a little surprised to see that they brought iola back into them, she died in the casefiles, why bring her back? i've been disappointed lately at how downhill the books have gone, same as the nancy drew series. i think from now on i'll stick to the older books and actually read something entertaining
