Book Description Georgia detective Sunny Childs must disguise herself to get into a ritzy women's hunting club-and to unearth these ladies' murderous secret. Reader Reviews Well Armed Social Climbers are Dangerous, September 4, 2003 Reviewer: A reader from Grand Rapids, MI United States Sunny Childs, an Atlanta PI, decides that profit sharing is more important than a much needed vacation. She borrows her mother's Jag, gets some hunting lessons from her big game hunter boss, and takes off for the wilds. This is a lady who obviously doesn't believe in bad omens-the first chapter is well worth a read! She arrives at an exclusive, all female hunting club/preserve to investigate the unsolved murder of a member. Once on the club's grounds she gets to meet the seriously creepy caretaker and his sister; back biting, social climbing, gun toting members with lots of ugly secrets; and Teddy T. Timmers-Sheriff. The plot moves along at a decent pace with the comings and goings of cops, caretakers, and the creme de la creme of society. There are a few red herrings in addition to the deer and the predatory members. It is an amusing read, even if you won't be surprised by the solution of the original murder.
