It is by far the most factual, accurate, comprehensive, and illuminating biography we have on Poe. All of the recent biographies of Poe pale by comparison, and are either flawed with incomplete information, or worse yet, full of inaccuracies. Arthur Hobson Quinn's biography of Poe has almost all of the information we have on Poe's life... all it is lacking are some new facts about Poe that we have learned since 1941, when the book originally came out. Even though this book was first published in 1941, it STILL has the most information, and the most accurate information of any biography to date, on the great writer, Edgar Allan Poe. I highly recommend this book to everybody.
